How to Sell Books Online

 

As a service to our authors, we provide a retail online book selling store, retail fulfillment and warehousing.

Below is basic plan of what we offer in simple, straightforward language.

Selling Your Book Retail on www.Starbooks.biz and Other Order Fulfillment:

1. Starbooks, our online book store is available to you and charges 25% of SRP plus shipping. We mail you a check and report monthly. (Amazon charges 55%, Barnes and Noble charges 40% + 15% distributor).

With your agreement to allow Starbooks to sell your books retail, we will:

2. Warehouse the books in our air-conditioned storage for you, free of charge for six months (thereafter costs are $88 per month).

3. Other Retail Fulfillment: Packing, labelling and shipping a book in the US or internationally is charged to your customer, so it costs you nothing. Simply send us the delivery address and the e-mail of the purchaser to confirm shipment. Shipping rates will be quoted to you.

4. We will supply a link and cover image for your site for book orders through www.starbooks.biz.

5. Wholesale Shipping on cases of books to other retail outlets in the US costs $36 per case. (You will be responsible for invoicing and collection.) Simply send us an e-mail of where you would like the shipment sent. We do not take returns and ship cases only.
